Hey everyone, I'm new here.  I'm a SAHM of 2 insane children.  lol  I love them to bits though.

On Wednesday I'm starting my raw food journey.  I would do it before then but I don't have any money atm.  My husband gets paid on Wednesday.  :)

I've been raw before.  The first time was when I was pregnant with my daughter, who's 6 now.  For some reason I couldn't keep down anything cooked.  It started with meat and ended with vegetables.  If it was cooked I couldn't eat it.  Unfortunately I went back to cooked foods when she was 3-4 months.

The thing that kept me raw that time was the fact that I couldn't handle cooked foods.  Well, it seems that now that's true for my body once again, though I'm not pregnant.  It started with stomach pains when I ate meat (mostly beef) and now I have severe acid reflux.  Almost everything causes it and my vocal cords are getting damaged.
I learned to listen to my body once before, so I'm doing it again.  
I've been thinking about bringing my kids on this raw journey.   My son is 10 and my daughter is 6.  I'm concerned though.  Even though they eat a lot of fruits and they have no problem eating their cooked veggies (plus my daughter loves raw carrots, celery, and cucumber), they also eat a lot of meat and even the occasional McDonnalds.  
I'm hoping some of you wonderful people can give me some advice.  I plan on making all sorts of recipes to find things they would like and then go from there.  I just don't know where to start.
